Its been a while since my last posting but the time has come for another adventure. This time I will be traveling with my group to beautiful Costa Rica and Panama.
A little bit about our trip...
After arriving in San Jose, the Capital of Costa Rica (pictured above), we will be visiting Manuel Antonio Natural Park, well known for its beautiful beaches and hiking trails. In
2011, Manuel Antonio was listed by Forbes among the world's 12 most beautiful
national parks. Then we
will be cruising aboard the Wind Spirit.
Natural and man-made wonders will combine on this exotic voyage. We will
learn more about area history, flora and fauna from a local Naturalist onboard
the ship. We will see the waters of Corcovado National Park- teeming with diverse
undersea life, while Golfito boasts a rainforest high above the clouds. We will
dive into the waters surrounding Isla de Coiba (some of us at least) to view one of the Pacific
Coast’s most amazing coral reefs. And we will transit the massive Panama Canal,
one of the world's most stunning feats of engineering. And, of course, so much more.
